New National Pgi and Pdo wine Committee

“After the good work carried out during the previous mandate, we have renewed and reinforced the role of the Committee as a technical, scientific and proactive organ for issues concerning viticulture and the quality wine sector. Today the role of the Committee is more strategic, considering that the new system of the Pdo and Pgi registration and protection is carried out at the Eu level.” This declared the Minister for agricultural food and forestry policies Mario Catania, commenting the nomination of the new national Committee of the Pdo and Pgi wines with the decree dated 29th of February.
